Project Samuel

Our Jan 2010 Trip to Project Samuel

On January 12, 2010 Timothy Vowell, President of Relationships For Christ Ministries, along with videographer Dan Lovett, traveled to Zambia to check on the progress of the construction at Project Samuel. As you may know Project Samuel is the RFCM youth revitalization initiative in Chibombo, Zambia. Once completed the project will provide daily care, housing, education, life skills and job training for over 300 orphans.

While there Pastor Timothy oversaw the installation of the power poles that will be used to bring electrical power to the project. In addition, he and Dan filmed the construction of the new Destiny Training Center which is due to be completed in early summer 2010.

One of the most exciting developments of the trip is that the ministry will now be making its own blocks at the project. Pastor Timothy bought several block molds that will be used to make both 4 in. and 6 in. blocks. This will enable us to save money as well as employe more workers from the village.
